3 EASY RECIPES USING FILAMENT COLD BREW COFFEE

These three simple recipes are great for busy bees!  If you are constantly on the move and struggle to find time to fuel yourself, then these healthy and filling creations are for you.  The addition of Filament Cold Brew Coffee adds great flavour and an extra energy kick!

1. Overnight Oatmeal

Oats don’t have to be boring. Dress up your old fashioned oats with a splash of Filament Cold Brew Coffee. This overnight recipe is great if mornings are a rush. Leave the house nourished, not hungry!  

Prep time: 5 minutes

Servings: 

Ingredients:

½ cup old fashioned oats

¼ cup Filament Cold Brew Coffee

¼ cup milk  

½ scoop vanilla protein powder

1 tbsp. chia seeds 

2 tbsp. coconut yoghurt 

1 tbsp. cocoa nibs 

 

Directions: 

1. Combine oats, protein powder, chia seeds, milk and cold brew into a bowl

2. Place in refrigerator to let sit and cool overnight 

3. Top with cocoa nibs and coconut yoghurt as desired 

4. Serve and enjoy!

2. Chia Pudding

Do you ever open your fridge or pantry and come up empty handed? This silky chia pudding is a winner for those who love a guilt-free healthy snack. Prep a bunch in advance and make sure you hide them from your housemates!

 

Prep time: 10 minutes

Servings: 

Ingredients:

½ cup Filament Cold Brew Coffee

½ cup coconut milk 

1 tbsp. almond butter

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 tbsp. honey

1 tbsp. cocoa powder

¼ cup chia seeds

 

Directions: 

1. Blend all ingredients (excluding chia seeds) in a blender

2. Pour blended mixture into bowl 

3. Mix in chia seeds 

4. Place in refrigerator to let sit and cool overnight 

5. Serve and enjoy!

3. Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Looking for something jazz up your morning smoothie? Easy! Just add half a cup of Filament Cold Brew Coffee and your smoothie will be singing. Experiment with different milks or even add a spoonful of cacao powder to keep things interesting.

 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Servings: 

Ingredients:

1 large frozen banana

2 tbsp. peanut butter 

1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup Filament Cold Brew Coffee

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 

 

Directions: 

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth 

2. Serve and enjoy!
